The heavily wooded terrain of North America encouraged the British Army to develop troops capable of operating beyond the rigid formations of conventional European warfare.

Light Infantry companies were trained for scouting, screening and skirmishing, using cover and operating in more open formations ahead of the main body.

BRLX-02 provides two light infantrymen skirmishing, making the pair ideal for woodland terrain where they can scout ahead of British regulars or engage enemy troops from cover.
