COND-04 – Kleiner Panzerbefehlswagen I Ausf. B

Armoured formations needed commanders who could communicate with their units while remaining mobile, leading to the development of specialised command vehicles.

The Kleiner Panzerbefehlswagen I was based on the Panzer I chassis but adapted for the command-and-control role with additional radio equipment and accommodation for an extra crew member.

COND-04 represents the Ausf. B-based command vehicle, an unusual and historically interesting counterpart to the standard Panzer I.
