CQ-21 – Arquebus & Crossbow

Smoke from an arquebus, the snap of a crossbow and the forest of pikes surrounding them would have created a very different battlefield from that of the medieval knight only generations earlier.

CQ-21 adds another arquebus and crossbow combination to the Spanish ranks.

The pair can operate behind pikemen and swordsmen, delivering missile fire while the close-combat troops provide protection. Together with the other CQ sets, they help build a wonderfully varied early-16th-century formation.
