CS1VCAV-05 represents another mounted soldier of the 1st Virginia Cavalry Regiment, one of the best-known Confederate cavalry formations.

His individual pose provides additional variety when grouped with CS1VCAV-02, 03 and 04, allowing collectors to assemble a body of horsemen without creating an overly repetitive appearance.
