CS5V-09 – Infantry Standing – Company A, Marion Rifles – 5th Virginia

The Marion Rifles became Company A of the 5th Virginia Infantry, one of the regiments serving in Jackson's brigade during the opening campaign of the Civil War.

CS5V-09 introduces a standing member of this company, giving collectors another distinctive volunteer formation to place alongside the West Augusta Guards and Continental Morgan Guards.

Together, these different companies illustrate how a Civil War regiment could be assembled from numerous locally raised units.
