Behind every Civil War cannon stood a crew working through a carefully practised sequence. Ammunition had to be prepared, the gun loaded and aimed, and each man needed to perform his role quickly while exposed to enemy fire.

CSART-08 – Confederate Artillery Crew adds another individual gunner to a Confederate battery, helping collectors build the manpower needed around their artillery pieces.

Rather than displaying a cannon in isolation, combining several different crew poses creates the impression of a gun actively being served in the middle of battle.
