Numidian cavalry fought without relying upon the heavy armour and equipment associated with many other mounted troops. Their strength lay instead in mobility, horsemanship and rapid attacks.

CTNUM-04B represents a Numidian rider carrying a distinctive giraffe-pattern shield.
