CTSP-01 – Iberian Light Cavalry – Red/Yellow Circular Shield

The Iberian Peninsula supplied Carthaginian commanders with both formidable infantry and highly mobile cavalry during the Punic Wars.

CTSP-01 represents an Iberian Light Cavalryman, immediately distinguished by his red and yellow circular shield.

Light horsemen could scout ahead, screen troop movements and harass enemy formations while avoiding prolonged combat with heavier cavalry. The mounted figure adds welcome speed and movement to a Spanish or Carthaginian force.
