Among the troops supporting the Jacobite cause were men whose story extended well beyond the Highlands themselves.

EEC-05 – Royal Écossais Line Infantry at the Ready represents a soldier of the Scottish regiment serving France that participated in the later stages of the 1745 Rising.

The ready pose is ideal for forming a battle line, with several figures positioned together behind the regimental colours. Jacobite Highlanders and opposing Government troops can then be added to broaden the scene.
