The white trousers immediately distinguish FJ049 from the other Fallschirmjäger in Thomas Gunn's new cinematic series.

FJ049 – Rifleman #2 is another member of Kurt Steiner's group from the opening railway-station sequence in the 1976 film The Eagle Has Landed.

Displayed individually, he provides an unusual Fallschirmjäger variation. Placed alongside FJ046, FJ047 and FJ048, however, his real purpose becomes apparent as the different figures recreate the tense confrontation from the film.

The variation in clothing is particularly useful in a group like this because it prevents the paratroopers from looking like identical soldiers repeated across the scene.
