GA-30 – Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf. H – Operation Barbarossa

When Operation Barbarossa began on 22 June 1941, the Panzer III was one of the principal tanks available to German armoured formations invading the Soviet Union.

The Ausf. H belonged to the continuing development of the Panzer III and reflected the rapid evolution of tank warfare already underway by 1941.

GA-30 – Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf. H places the vehicle firmly within the enormous Eastern Front campaign. It is ideal for a summer 1941 display featuring German infantry and vehicles advancing through the vast distances of the Soviet Union.

Later Soviet armour would expose the limitations of existing German tanks and accelerate the search for more powerful designs.

Available through The Military Workshop – a detailed John Jenkins Designs Panzer III Ausf. H for recreating the opening stages of Operation Barbarossa.
