GG-106 – Ox Wagon – British Laager / Entrenched Defences
The humble ox wagon was indispensable to British campaigning in southern Africa. It carried ammunition, food, equipment and other supplies across country where conventional European transport could be extremely difficult.
Wagons also had another important use: when arranged defensively, they could contribute to a laager or improvised fortified position, providing cover and helping define the perimeter.
GG-106 brings this vital logistical element into an Anglo-Zulu War collection. It can form part of a moving supply column, a camp or an entrenched defensive scene surrounded by British troops.
