GG91-01 – Infantry Officer – 91st Regiment, Princess Louise's Argyllshire Highlanders

The 91st Regiment of Foot had strong Scottish associations and in 1872 gained the title Princess Louise's Argyllshire Highlanders, reflecting its connection with Princess Louise, Duchess of Argyll.

The regiment served during the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879, including operations associated with the relief of Eshowe.

GG91-01 portrays an infantry officer of the 91st, providing a commanding personality around which the regiment's firing, loading and skirmishing figures can be organised.
