GGC-39 – German Carpenter
Wood was fundamental to First World War aircraft construction. Frames, wings and structural components relied heavily upon timber, making skilled woodworking an important part of aircraft repair and maintenance.
GGC-39 – German Carpenter represents one of the tradesmen whose skills helped keep aircraft operational.
Rather than positioning him directly on the flight line, the carpenter can be placed near a hangar or workshop, surrounded by timber, tools and aircraft components. This helps broaden the airfield beyond pilots and mechanics alone.
Available through The Military Workshop – an unusual and highly useful John Jenkins Designs figure adding workshop life to a WWI German aviation display.
