GMPM-03 – Satō Tadanobu
Satō Tadanobu is remembered as one of the loyal retainers associated with the celebrated Minamoto commander Minamoto no Yoshitsune.
The world of the late 12th century was one in which personal loyalty between warrior and lord could become as important to later storytelling as the battles themselves. Tadanobu's association with Yoshitsune subsequently became part of Japanese historical and dramatic tradition.
GMPM-03 represents this individual warrior, allowing collectors to move beyond anonymous samurai and build a display populated by named personalities from the Genpei era.
He is particularly effective alongside Benkei and other figures associated with Yoshitsune, where the individual releases collectively begin to tell the wider story of the Minamoto leadership and its retainers.
