GWB-100 – No Man's Land Diorama Base
Between the opposing trench systems of the Western Front lay the landscape that came to symbolise the First World War – No Man's Land.
Repeated artillery bombardment transformed once-ordinary countryside into a devastated expanse of shell craters, mud, shattered vegetation, wire and debris. Crossing this ground under enemy observation and fire was one of the most dangerous tasks an infantryman could face.
GWB-100 – No Man's Land Diorama Base provides collectors with the battlefield environment needed to place their figures into this setting.
Australian infantry can crawl between craters, Whippet tanks can cross the broken ground and casualties, equipment and advancing troops can be distributed across the terrain. Rather than figures standing on an ordinary flat surface, the base immediately connects them to the landscape that defined the Western Front.
Multiple battlefield accessories can be added around it to expand the scene into trenches, support positions and ruined countryside.
