GWF-03B – Two PCDF Loading
Behind the French firing line, thousands of men were engaged in the constant movement of supplies.
GWF-03B provides two personnel loading equipment, making the set a natural companion to the John Jenkins Designs Berliet Truck and other French transport releases.
Every vehicle arriving at a depot or forward supply point required men to load or unload its cargo. Ammunition, rations and equipment then had to continue their journey towards the troops at the front.
The two figures allow the Berliet to be displayed as a working military vehicle rather than simply parked on a road. Add boxes and other accessories around them and the scene quickly develops into a busy French supply point.
They are also useful away from the truck, particularly around ammunition dumps or rear-area stores where the physical labour of maintaining an army continued around the clock.
