GWG-05 – German Tank Crew
By 1918, tanks had become an increasingly important feature of the Western Front, but the German Army never fielded them in numbers comparable with the Allies.
GWG-05 – German Tank Crew adds another crew figure to John Jenkins Designs' representation of Imperial German armoured warfare.
German tank personnel could find themselves operating the large A7V or one of the captured Allied tanks pressed into German service. These machines were mechanically demanding, and their crews were working in a branch of warfare that had barely existed two years earlier.
A second crew pose is particularly useful when several figures are gathered around a vehicle. One man can be inspecting the machine while another stands nearby, giving the impression of a crew temporarily outside their tank.
Available from The Military Workshop – a characterful John Jenkins Designs German tank crewman for adding further life to a late-war armoured display.
