GWUS-01A – Mack AC “Bulldog” Driver
The Mack AC became one of the most recognisable American military trucks of the First World War and later acquired the famous nickname “Bulldog.”
Its rugged construction and distinctive blunt-nosed appearance made it well suited to the demanding work of moving supplies over wartime roads.
GWUS-01A provides the driver needed to bring a Mack AC transport scene to life.
Drivers formed an essential part of the enormous American logistical effort required after the United States entered the war in April 1917. An army arriving across the Atlantic needed ammunition, food, fuel and equipment transported continuously from ports and depots towards the front.
Place this figure with a Mack AC truck, perhaps surrounded by engineers, supplies and loading personnel. The driver immediately gives the vehicle purpose and helps turn it into part of an active convoy.
Available through The Military Workshop – a finely detailed John Jenkins Designs Mack AC driver representing the transport personnel who kept the American Expeditionary Forces supplied in France.
