GWUS-03 – Mack AC “Bulldog” Truck – Soft Top
Few vehicles better represent the growing importance of motor transport during the First World War than the Mack AC truck.
Introduced during the 1910s, the Mack AC developed a reputation for ruggedness and reliability. Large numbers were used for military transport, and its distinctive profile eventually became closely associated with the “Bulldog” nickname.
GWUS-03 represents a soft-top Mack AC, providing a substantial transport vehicle for the American Great War collection.
The truck can be loaded with supplies, parked at a depot or shown moving along a road towards the front. Pair it with GWUS-01A's driver and the surrounding American personnel to create a complete transport vignette.
It also makes an excellent companion to horse-drawn wagons and European trucks, demonstrating how the First World War stood at a transitional point between traditional animal transport and increasingly mechanised logistics.
Available through The Military Workshop – an impressive John Jenkins Designs Mack AC Bulldog, ideal for recreating the vast American supply effort behind the Western Front.
