IC-05B – Iceni Warrior Charging

IC-05B – Iceni Warrior Charging provides another aggressive pose for collectors recreating the great uprising against Roman rule in Britain.

The Iceni inhabited an area centred largely in what is now Norfolk and parts of East Anglia. Their revolt under Boudica grew beyond a single tribal dispute, drawing in other groups opposed to Roman rule.

The rebels inflicted severe damage before Roman governor Gaius Suetonius Paulinus concentrated his available forces and confronted Boudica's army in a decisive battle at an uncertain location.

John Jenkins Designs' charging warrior captures the momentum needed for the tribal side of such a scene. Mixed with IC-05A and other Iceni figures, the different poses can produce a loose, energetic mass moving towards a more compact Roman formation.

Individual warriors can also be placed around fallen figures or obstacles, creating the sense of a battle already breaking into separate close-quarter struggles.
