IC-07B – Iceni Warrior Charging

IC-07B offers another charging Iceni warrior, giving collectors a complementary figure with which to increase the size and variety of Boudica's army.

The Iceni were centred in East Anglia, particularly modern Norfolk, and had initially existed as a Roman client kingdom under Prasutagus. Following his death, Roman actions against his kingdom and family contributed to the outbreak of the famous rebellion led by Boudica.

The uprising rapidly became far larger than a local disturbance. Roman settlements were destroyed and the provincial administration faced a serious military crisis before Governor Gaius Suetonius Paulinus could concentrate sufficient troops to confront the rebels.

The charging stance of IC-07B is ideal for creating that sense of a large tribal force pressing forward. Combine him with the A variation and the other IC releases, leaving irregular spaces between warriors to suggest a naturally moving formation.
