IC-09A – Iceni Warrior Charging

The early successes of Boudica's rebellion were dramatic. Camulodunum, the Roman colonia at modern Colchester, was overwhelmed, and the revolt subsequently reached Londinium and Verulamium, both of which suffered devastating destruction.

Against this background, IC-09A – Iceni Warrior Charging captures the confidence and momentum of a tribal force that had already achieved major victories.

The warrior is shown in action rather than standing defensively, making him particularly suited to the forward portion of a battle scene. Several different charging figures placed at uneven distances can give the impression of an entire body of warriors rushing across the ground.

He can also be used in a settlement scene associated with the earlier stages of the revolt rather than only in the final battle against Suetonius.

For collectors building both Roman and Iceni armies, these individual releases allow the two forces to be brought together in close combat without excessive repetition.
