IC-10A – Iceni Warrior Charging
A large Iceni display comes alive through the accumulation of different individual poses, each warrior contributing to the impression of a much greater force in motion.
IC-10A continues that approach with another single charging warrior.
The Iceni and their allies faced a Roman military system built around disciplined infantry, experienced officers and formations capable of maintaining cohesion under pressure. Boudica's warriors therefore needed to break that organisation if they were to overcome the Roman battle line.
The final Roman victory was decisive, but the rebellion itself had already demonstrated the scale of opposition Rome could encounter in Britain.
IC-10A is ideally positioned towards the centre or front of the tribal charge, surrounded by the IC-05 through IC-11 warriors to produce a dense but irregular attacking formation.
