IC-11B – Iceni Warrior Charging
IC-11B completes another variation within John Jenkins Designs' extensive selection of charging Iceni warriors.
Although Boudica's rebellion ultimately failed, its initial success was extraordinary. Major Roman settlements were destroyed and the province's future was sufficiently threatened that the revolt became one of the most memorable episodes in the history of Roman Britain.
The individual warrior represented here gives that enormous event a human scale. He is not a queen, general or named hero, but one of the many fighters whose participation turned local grievances into a major military uprising.
For maximum effect, mix IC-11B throughout the other charging figures rather than placing matching codes together. Differences in pose then become distributed across the army and create a much more natural flow towards the Roman line.
