The story of Robert Rogers and Rogers' Rangers is usually told through scouts, wilderness raids and frontier fighting, but military life also depended upon people performing much more ordinary personal and logistical duties.
JJCLUB-SET#15 – Roger's Servant explores that less frequently represented side of the French and Indian War.
A servant attached to an officer might be responsible for practical tasks around camp, equipment and daily life – work that rarely appears in traditional battle paintings but which was nevertheless part of campaigning.
The figure is particularly useful around a Ranger encampment. Rather than placing every miniature on patrol or in combat, Roger's Servant can help create the sense of a temporary camp functioning behind the fighting men.
Combine the figure with tents, supplies, fires and other non-combatant pieces to show the Rangers between operations.
