JR-32BN – 3 Highlanders | John Jenkins Designs

JR-32BN is a three-figure set representing Highlanders of the Jacobite Army during the final stages of the 1745 Rising.

Highland regiments were traditionally organised around clan connections, with officers frequently drawn from the same communities as the men they commanded.

Although these close bonds gave the regiments a strong sense of identity, the Jacobite army faced serious difficulties in providing sufficient time, weapons and ammunition for the type of constant drill expected of professional European infantry.

French influence could nevertheless be seen in Jacobite tactics, particularly in their emphasis on aggressive movement and shock action.

This three-figure set is ideal for expanding a larger Highland battle line and works naturally alongside JR-32AN, JR-32A and JR-32B.

Will be available from The Military Workshop.
