JR-40B – Highlander – Battle of Culloden

JR-40B provides another Highland warrior specifically associated with the Battle of Culloden.

The government's victory on 16 April 1746 effectively ended the Jacobites' ability to continue the Rising as a conventional military campaign. Prince Charles escaped the battlefield and spent months evading capture before eventually leaving Scotland.

For the Highland soldiers, however, the consequences were immediate. The army broke apart, casualties were heavy and government forces began pursuing those associated with the rebellion.

JR-40B can be combined with JR-40A and the larger JR-40N set to create a dedicated Culloden formation. Mix wounded and fleeing figures behind them to show the battle changing from attack to defeat across different parts of the display.

Available through The Military Workshop – a finely realised John Jenkins Designs Culloden Highlander for recreating the last major battle fought on British soil.
