JR-40B – The Jacobite Rebellion 1745 – The Battle of Culloden, 16th April 1746 – The Jacobite Army – Highlander (1 pc)

The Jacobite Highlanders who assembled in 1745 came from proud clan traditions stretching back centuries. Motivated by loyalty, honour and the hope of restoring the Stuart monarchy, they embarked upon one of the most dramatic campaigns in British history. Despite limited supplies and overwhelming odds, these warriors displayed extraordinary resilience throughout the campaign, marching hundreds of miles across Scotland and into England before making their final stand at Culloden.

The Highland Charge became one of the most feared tactics of the eighteenth century, combining speed, aggression and close-quarter combat to devastating effect. Although ultimately unsuccessful at Culloden, the courage of the Jacobite clansmen has ensured their place in Scottish legend and continues to inspire historians and collectors around the world.

This outstanding figure reflects the pride and fighting spirit of the Jacobite Army through exceptional sculptural detail and historically accurate attire. Every fold of the tartan, every weapon and every carefully painted feature contributes to a miniature full of life and authenticity. Collectors visiting The Military Workshop will appreciate both the craftsmanship and the rich historical story represented by this remarkable Highland warrior.
