LAH267 – ‘Leibstandarte Staff Officer’ is another command-level personality designed to accompany King & Country's ceremonial Leibstandarte figures.
Rather than being placed shoulder-to-shoulder with the guards, an officer figure can be used to break the visual repetition of a large parade formation. Position him beside other officers, near a vehicle or slightly forward of the ranks as though supervising proceedings.
The Leibstandarte's public ceremonial presence was closely connected with the political theatre of Nazi Germany. Uniformed formations were deliberately used to create images of discipline and power at rallies, parades and official events.
That makes LAH267 particularly suited to a display based around ceremony rather than combat. Combined with rank-and-file figures at attention and parade rest, the miniature helps recreate the hierarchical structure of such events.
