MAC-06C – Three Phalangites with White Shields continues one of the most effective army-building options within the John Jenkins Designs ancient ranges.

Matching shield colours allow collectors to establish a clear visual identity for different bodies of Macedonian infantry while the varied poses prevent the formation from becoming monotonous.

The phalanx's appearance was dominated by the sarissa. Carried at different angles according to the soldier's position and circumstances, these long pikes created a formidable barrier to an enemy approaching from the front.

For display, MAC-06C should ideally be integrated with the other white-shield sets rather than isolated. As the unit grows, the individual codes disappear visually into the larger formation – exactly the effect appropriate to phalanx warfare.
