NFYORK-12 – Yorkist Archer | John Jenkins Designs
The longbow had already shaped English victories in France long before York and Lancaster turned their weapons against one another at home.
NFYORK-12 – Yorkist Archer represents the continuation of that military tradition during the Wars of the Roses.
Archers could deliver a substantial volume of arrows before the opposing battle lines met. Once the distance closed, however, they could also become involved in the melee, making them much more than distant missile troops.
NFYORK-12 can be mixed with the other Yorkist archers to build a convincing body of bowmen. Billmen and knights positioned nearby complete the transition from missile troops to the heavier elements of the Yorkist army.
Available through The Military Workshop – a versatile John Jenkins Designs bowman for expanding a late-15th-century Yorkist force.
