NKE-12B – Chariot Runners | John Jenkins Designs

During the New Kingdom period of Ancient Egypt, the war chariot became one of the most important elements of the Pharaoh's military forces.

These lightweight, fast-moving vehicles provided Egyptian commanders with mobility on the battlefield and were frequently employed as platforms for archers.

The famous Battle of Kadesh in 1274 BC, fought between the armies of Ramesses II and the Hittite king Muwatalli II, became one of the largest chariot engagements of the ancient world.

Infantry operating alongside the chariots formed part of the Egyptian battlefield force, supporting the movement of these vehicles and engaging enemy soldiers.

NKE-12B – Chariot Runners by John Jenkins Designs features three Egyptian infantrymen running forward, armed with javelins and distinctive blue shields.

The dynamic poses capture the movement of soldiers advancing across the battlefield alongside the Egyptian chariot formations.

Part of the New Kingdom Egyptians – Battle of Kadesh collection, this three-figure set is an excellent addition to displays featuring the Pharaoh's war chariots and advancing infantry.
