The Norman army that landed in England in 1066 was not composed solely of Normans. William's invasion force included warriors from Normandy and other regions, brought together for an ambitious campaign that culminated at Hastings.
Mounted knights provided William with an important capability that Harold's predominantly infantry-based army lacked in comparable numbers.
Combine NM-05B with the other Norman cavalry variants and the battlefield immediately gains height and movement, particularly when the horsemen are positioned approaching the Saxon shield wall.
