NM-06B – Norman Knight | John Jenkins Designs
The success of William's invasion depended upon bringing an army, horses and equipment safely across the English Channel and then defeating Harold before his position could be consolidated.
NM-06B – Norman Knight represents one of the mounted fighting men who formed the striking arm of that invasion force.
Norman cavalry did not simply charge as a single uncontrolled mass. Horsemen could regroup and attack repeatedly, working alongside archers and infantry throughout the battle.
For collectors, NM-06B adds another variation to a mounted force and becomes particularly effective when mixed with the A version and other NM cavalry releases.
Arrange the knights at slightly different angles and distances and a static display can quickly begin to suggest a cavalry attack unfolding across the battlefield.
Available from The Military Workshop – another excellent John Jenkins Designs mounted knight from the age of the Norman Conquest.
