NM-08B – Norman Knight | John Jenkins Designs
NM-08B adds another variation to the mounted Norman warriors of the John Jenkins Designs collection.
At Hastings, cavalry gave William an important mobile element, but the English position was extremely difficult to overcome. Harold's men occupied higher ground and formed a tightly packed shield wall that resisted repeated assaults.
That struggle makes Norman cavalry particularly dramatic subjects for a diorama. A group of horsemen can be shown climbing towards the English line while casualty figures and scattered infantry suggest the difficulty of the attack.
NM-08B works naturally alongside the other A and B cavalry variations, increasing both the numbers and visual diversity of William's army.
