NM-16 – Norman Knight | John Jenkins Designs

As the fighting at Hastings continued, William's commanders needed to maintain pressure upon an English army that had already endured an exhausting march and the recent Battle of Stamford Bridge.

NM-16 – Norman Knight adds another mounted warrior to the forces attempting to break Harold's defensive line.

The Norman army's ability to combine missile troops, infantry and cavalry was one of its important strengths. Mounted warriors could attack, withdraw and regroup while other elements maintained pressure on the English position.

NM-16 is particularly effective when placed among several different cavalry poses, where the horses can be arranged at varying angles to suggest a force manoeuvring rather than simply standing in formation.

Available from The Military Workshop – another impressive John Jenkins Designs mounted warrior for the Norman army of 1066.
