NM-20B – Norman Spearman | John Jenkins Designs

NM-20B – Norman Spearman provides another variation of the infantry who accompanied William's mounted warriors into England.

While knights dominate the popular image of Norman warfare, the invasion army required substantial numbers of foot soldiers. Spearmen could fight in formation, support the cavalry and participate directly in assaults against enemy infantry.

The B variant gives collectors another option for increasing the size of the Norman ranks without relying upon one repeated appearance.

Combine NM-20B with NM-20A and the other spearmen, placing cavalry behind or between the infantry and archers farther back to create a more complete representation of William's army.
