NM-35B – Norman Archer

For the ordinary Norman archer, the struggle for the English crown was experienced not as grand strategy but from the battlefield itself. His task was to use the bow to disrupt the enemy and support the warriors advancing ahead of him.

NM-35B – Norman Archer focuses on one of these less celebrated but essential members of William’s army. Archers could operate from behind the main fighting line, sending repeated volleys towards enemy positions before the heavier troops moved into close combat.

The different archer poses available in the range allow collectors to create a convincing missile formation with plenty of natural variation.

An excellent choice from The Military Workshop for adding depth to a John Jenkins Battle of Hastings or Norman army display.
