NM-56 – Breton Cavalry

The events of 14 October 1066 were shaped not only by famous leaders such as William and Harold, but also by the thousands of warriors who fought beneath them. Among William’s men were the Bretons, whose mounted troops formed a significant part of his cavalry strength.

NM-56 – Breton Cavalry captures one of these horsemen in action, providing collectors with another individual pose for building a varied mounted contingent. Alongside Norman spearmen, archers, crossbowmen and knights, the Breton cavalry helps show the full diversity of William’s invading army.

With several different Breton horsemen available, collectors can create an impressive cavalry formation that conveys the movement and confusion of a medieval battle.

NM-56 is available from The Military Workshop – a fine addition for collectors building the Battle of Hastings and the armies of 1066 in miniature.
