PFL-02B – French Line Infantry 1807, 66th Line, 3rd Company – Company Officer

During the Napoleonic Wars, the French infantry formed the backbone of Napoleon’s Grande Armée, campaigning across Europe in some of the most famous battles of the early 19th century. Officers were expected to maintain order, direct their men and lead from the front when their company went into action.

PFL-02B portrays a Company Officer of the 66th Line Infantry, 3rd Company, as he would have appeared around 1807. His distinctive uniform and commanding presence make him a natural focal point for a formation of marching or fighting French fusiliers.

A figure such as this is particularly effective when placed at the head of his company, helping turn a collection of individual infantrymen into a convincing Napoleonic formation.

The Military Workshop is pleased to offer this John Jenkins figure for collectors building the colourful and formidable armies of the Napoleonic era.
