QB-39 – 35th Grenadier Marching #2

Grenadier companies traditionally contained some of the strongest and most experienced men of a British infantry regiment. By the time of the French and Indian War, they retained their reputation as selected troops and their distinctive appearance set them apart from ordinary line infantry.

QB-39 – 35th Grenadier Marching #2 portrays a grenadier of the 35th Regiment of Foot moving with his company during the Quebec campaign.

His uniform provides an immediate visual contrast to the regular marching soldiers, making him particularly useful for collectors who want to represent the different companies within an 18th-century regiment rather than simply creating rows of identical infantry.

Available from The Military Workshop – a distinctive John Jenkins grenadier for adding colour and variety to Wolfe’s army of 1759.
