RSF-10 - The Shooting Lesson Part 1 | John Jenkins Designs
This two-figure set, titled "The Shooting Lesson – Part 1", depicts a Woodland Indian father watching his son prepare to fire a musket for the first time.
The scene captures an important moment of instruction, with the young boy carefully lining up his shot while his father observes.
The father's expression reflects his concentration as he watches the boy preparing to use the weapon.
The set belongs to the Woodland Indian figures associated with the Raid on St. Francis, 1759, and offers a different perspective from the military engagements depicted elsewhere in the collection.
Rather than showing warriors in combat, the figures represent a quieter moment in which a father passes knowledge and practical skills to his son.
The manufacturer's historical collection also includes other Woodland Indian figures depicting hunting, travelling and everyday activities, allowing collectors to create scenes beyond the battlefield.
This limited-edition set of 500 makes an excellent addition to a Woodland Indian village or historical display.
It can also be combined with "The Shooting Lesson – Part 2" to develop the complete scene.
Now available from The Military Workshop.
