RTA014 “The Alamo Chapel Facade” is a striking scenic piece from King & Country, designed to recreate one of the most recognisable landmarks associated with the Battle of the Alamo.
The Alamo Mission in San Antonio became the site of one of the most famous episodes of the Texas Revolution. In February and March 1836, a small Texian garrison held the former mission against a much larger Mexican army commanded by General Antonio López de Santa Anna. After a siege lasting almost two weeks, the position was overwhelmed on 6 March 1836, and the battle became a powerful symbol of resistance and sacrifice in Texan history.
The chapel facade is the feature most strongly associated with the Alamo today, and this King & Country piece allows collectors to recreate the atmosphere of the historic mission compound in miniature. Its distinctive architecture makes it an ideal backdrop for defenders, Mexican infantry, artillery crews, cavalry and civilian figures from the same range.
