SP023 – European Walls and Gate | King & Country
SP023 “European Walls and Gate” is a versatile scenic accessory from King & Country, designed to recreate the enclosed courtyards, garden walls and property entrances commonly seen throughout European towns and villages.
Stone and rendered walls like these were a familiar feature across France, Belgium, Holland and other parts of Western Europe. During the Second World War they became part of the battlefield itself, providing cover for infantry, defining narrow lanes and courtyards, and forming natural defensive positions during fighting in built-up areas.
The gateway gives the piece added character and makes it especially useful for creating entrances to farmhouses, village homes, estates or walled compounds. It can also be used to frame vehicles and figures, helping to give a display greater depth and a stronger sense of location.
SP023 is particularly well suited to scenes based around the Battle of France, Normandy, occupied Europe and the Allied advance through Northwest Europe in 1944–45. It can be combined with infantry, civilians, vehicles and other King & Country buildings to create anything from a quiet village setting to a tense street or courtyard scene.
