SS195 – Unconscious SS Officer ‘Out Cold’ | Thomas Gunn
Sometimes the most useful miniature in a diorama is the one that isn't standing up.
SS195 – ‘Out Cold’ portrays the unconscious SS officer from the railway-station confrontation in The Eagle Has Landed.
In the film, Steiner objects to the SS officer's treatment of civilian prisoners and strikes him during the confrontation. Thomas Gunn depicts the aftermath with the officer lying unconscious on the ground.
Within the complete film scene, SS195 immediately explains what has happened and gives the standing Fallschirmjäger figures a focal point. Combined with FJ046 through FJ049, collectors can recreate much of the sequence already, with Thomas Gunn indicating that additional opposing SS figures are to follow.
Outside that setting, the prone figure also has possibilities as an unconscious or incapacitated German soldier in other appropriate WWII dioramas.
Available from The Military Workshop – an unusual Thomas Gunn character piece that adds a strong storytelling element to The Eagle Has Landed collection.
