SX-35A – Fyrdman
For the ordinary men of the Saxon Fyrd, being called to military service meant joining an army in which their ability to stand together could be crucial. Individual courage mattered, but the strength of the formation depended upon warriors supporting the men alongside them.
SX-35A – Fyrdman captures one of these fighting men and provides another individual character for the Saxon ranks. Used among the various A and B versions, he contributes to the irregular mixture of clothing, equipment and poses that gives a large Fyrd formation its visual appeal.
Position him among a defensive shield wall or alongside advancing warriors as the Saxons move forward to meet their enemy.
