SX-51A – Fyrdman

The Fyrdmen were an important part of Anglo-Saxon military organisation, providing the manpower needed to supplement the more experienced warriors maintained by kings and leading nobles.

SX-51A – Fyrdman portrays one of these men prepared to stand within the Saxon ranks. His equipment and individual appearance contribute to the less uniform character expected from a force assembled from warriors of different backgrounds.

Used with the companion variants, SX-51A helps collectors gradually extend a shield wall while maintaining plenty of visual interest across the formation.
