SX-63A – Two Wounded Saxons captures this darker side of the battlefield, depicting two men who have become casualties during the fighting.

Rather than simply increasing the number of warriors in a formation, wounded figures introduce a sense of progression to a diorama, suggesting that the battle has been raging and the opposing forces are beginning to suffer.
