During the 4th century BC, Thrace was home to powerful tribal kingdoms whose rulers controlled territories stretching across parts of the northern Aegean and southeastern Europe. Thracian kings commanded warriors renowned for their skill as cavalrymen, peltasts and mercenaries.

TH-01 – Thracian King represents the leadership and warrior aristocracy at the head of these formidable forces. His status makes him a natural focal point for a collection containing Thracian peltasts, cavalry, musicians and standard bearers.
