TH-04A – Thracian Peltast

The peltast provided ancient commanders with a valuable alternative to the heavily equipped infantryman. Able to move quickly and fight at a distance, these troops could frustrate slower opponents and protect the movements of their own army.

TH-04A – Thracian Peltast represents one of the warriors most strongly associated with this style of fighting. His equipment and appearance provide an immediate contrast to the disciplined ranks of hoplites and other heavy infantry.

Placed among a larger group of Thracian skirmishers, he helps create a lively scene of warriors manoeuvring and preparing to unleash their javelins.
